Catch Up DJ Competition

Your chance to
hit the main stage.

Catch Up is searching for the next wave of DJ talent, giving one emerging artist the opportunity to perform live before Example on the main stage at the Suntory 196 Mekka Raceday.

Taking place at Doomben Racecourse on Saturday 22 August, this is your chance to showcase your sound, compete in front of a live audience and put yourself in front of the Catch Up Agency team.

How the competition works

Applications are open to emerging DJs ready to take the next step.

From all entries received, 20 successful applicants will be shortlisted to compete live on the competition stage at the Suntory 196 Mekka Raceday.

Throughout the day, the shortlisted DJs will battle it out until one winner remains.

What you could win

The overall winner will:

Perform live before Example on the main stage
Be considered for signing to Catch Up Agency
Gain access to future shows and booking opportunities across South East Queensland
Receive valuable exposure in front of a major live event audience

There will also be multiple additional prizes available throughout the competition.

More than just one performance

Catch Up Agency judges will be there throughout the day searching for exciting new talent to join the agency.

The winner, along with any other standout performers, may be offered the opportunity to sign with Catch Up Agency. This could open the door to regular shows, major events and ongoing booking opportunities at venues throughout Brisbane and South East Queensland.

You do not have to win to get noticed. Every shortlisted DJ will have the opportunity to perform in front of the people who can help take their career further.
